Saturday, February 18, 2012  -  Messianic recording artists Zemer Levav

The Hanes family will present a worship concert in the evening at 7:30 p.m.  Zemer Levav is a Messianic worship ministry with a Sephardic/Middle-Eastern sound. To hear sample music and order CD's click here.
Sunday, March 4th, - Purim Celebration at the Shul.
2:00 p.m. Shuk - If you like to shop, come early and browse the arts, crafts and whatnot to find a deal!  If you have something to sell, come at 1:00 p.m. set up your own table and get ready for the shoppers.  (Note: no charge for vendors, but vendors must be responsible to clean up after the party and take down table and return it.)
3:00 p.m. Schpiel & Party: Games, prizes, fun and food!  Come dressed in your favorite Bible hero costume and enjoy our Purim Play, written and conducted by Oxana and played by our congregants!

Treats and Eats: Bring some hamantaschen and/or finger food.  See recipes on our recipe page.  (No junk food, please!)  No time to make hamantaschen?  No worries--just pick some up at Whole Foods to bring. 

Friday, April 20 - Messianic recording artist Paul Wilbur will present a worship concert in the evening at 7:30 p.m.

Paul Wilbur is an Integrity Music recording artist and the founder of Wilbur Ministries. Paul and his team travel throughout the United States and the world sharing the love of God through Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah.

In 1990 Paul recorded his first release with Integrity entitled "Up To Zion." Since then he has recorded five more solo albums including three performed live in Jerusalem: "Shalom Jerusalem," "Jerusalem Arise," and "Lion Of Judah." "Holy Fire" (1997) and "The Watchman" (2006) were recorded in Houston and San Antonio respectively. Two more special release collections entitled "Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem" and "Praise Adonai" were released in 2007 and 2008 to honor the 60th birthday of Israel and the 40th anniversary of the re-unification of Jerusalem.


Saturday, April 21 - Paul Wilbur will present the opening session of our weekend prayer retreat from 4-6 p.m.
Saturday, April 21st thru Sunday, April 22nd - Or HaOlam 2012 Spring Prayer Retreat held at Tall Oaks Conference Center, 12797 189th St., Linwood, Kansas 66052 (talloaks.org).  The bedrooms accommodate 4 persons each; space is limited;  rates are $40 per person overnight, $15 per day for non-overnight ($30 for two days).  Contact admin@orhaolam.com to make reservations.
