Lambert Bariho
Today: The Barihos will be back! Together Lambert and Catherine lead Ellel Rwanda. Ellel is a global healing ministry. For our morning message, Lambert will show us Ellel insights of how to enter into G-d's healing love. His wife Catherine (nee McIntire) will grace our bimah with her cello music ministry. That afternoon, they will lead prayer ministry.
Hanukkah Party!
Tomorrow afternoon, December 14: Hanukkah party! Our annual Hanukkah celebration will begin at 12:30 pm with shopping, schmoozing, craft activities for children, and yummy fried foods (that you bring). We will also be watching the moview Big Sonia, and we will have many other fun activities.
TeeRosh תרש
Teerosh is a Hebrew acronym for prayer, dance and song. Please join us for Teerosh next Tuesday, 7 pm, here at the shul or via Zoom.
Men's Meeting
Sunday, December 21: 9 am to noon here at the shul, beginning with a free breakfast. We’ll continue with study and discussion of chapters 10 and 11 of the book The Measure of a Man: Twenty Attributes of a Godly Man by Gene A. Getz.

Hanukkiah Lighting and Fellowship: Whether you spell it Chanukah or Hanukkah, come celebrate the 8th night with us! We will light hanukkiyot, sing songs and enjoy dinner together. Please bring your hanukkiah, candles and something yummy to share for dinner or desert! Join us at the shul from 5 to 7 pm. Please contact Alexandra at (303) 817-2864 for more details and to RSVP. Zeitim is Or HaOlam’s group for people in their 30s and 40s, including families with children.
Stars of Faith
Stars of Faith is a special edition of Stargaze Kansas City scheduled until Sunday, January 4. It features holiday stars and traditions. In addition to constellations, planets, and deep-space objects, this holiday season planetarium educators will also share with you the many ways in which faith connects with the night sky. Explore the lunar mechanics of the Hebrew calendar, investigate the possible astronomical origins of the Star of Bethlehem, and discover more about humanity's many connections to the heavens. Stars of Faith is showing at Gottlieb Planetarium at Union Station in KCMO. Tickets are $8 per person. Get your tickets here.
