Planned Itinerary**
November 11 - Journey to the Land of Promise
Depart from Kansas City for your overnight flight to Tel Aviv.
November 12 - Arrival and First Glimpse of Galilee
Arrive in Israel and meet your guide and driver at Ben Gurion Airport. Transfer to your hotel on the Sea of Galilee for dinner and an overnight stay.
November 13 - Foundations of Faith in Galilee
Begin your day ascending the Golan Heights for panoramic views, then visit Tel Dan National Park, where the tribe of Dan settled (Judges 18 TLV). Continue to Caesarea Philippi, where Yeshua asked His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" (Matthew 16:15 TLV). In the afternoon, visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where Yeshua taught the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7 TLV), and Capernaum, the center of His Galilean ministry (Matthew 4:13 TLV). In the evening, enjoy a traditional Shabbat dinner with the "Faithful Galileans" at Kibbutz Beit Zera. Overnight on the Sea of Galilee.
November 14 - Worship and Prophetic Landscapes
Start early at Magdala, home of Miriam of Magdala (Luke 8:2 TLV), then travel to Haifa to worship at Kehilat HaCarmel (service begins at 11:00 AM). Afterward, visit Tel Megiddo (Armageddon), overlooking the valley where the final battle is foretold (Revelation 16:16 TLV), and then Nazareth Village, where you will see a model of a first-century synagogue and village (Luke 4:16 TLV). Conclude the day with a sunset boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, recalling Yeshua calming the storm (Mark 4:39 TLV). Dinner and overnight on the Sea of Galilee.
November 15 - Covenant and Renewal in the Jordan Valley
Today, we get an early start! After breakfast, visit Beit She'an, a major Roman city (1 Samuel 31:10 TLV). Continue to Qasr al-Yahud, the traditional site of Yeshua's immersion by John (Matthew 3:13 TLV), then ascend Masada, where Jewish zealots made their last stand during the Roman siege. End the day at the Dead Sea for an overnight stay and experience floating in its waters.
November 16 - Strength and Refuge in the Wilderness
Watch the sunrise over the Dead Sea shoreline. Hike a few of the waterfalls of Ein Gedi, where David hid from Saul (1 Samuel 24:1 TLV). Then, today we have a special invitation to visit Jericho, visit the Seeds of Hope School, enjoy lunch hosted by Khader Ghanim of Seeds of Hope Ministries, and see one of the archaeological sites (Joshua 6 TLV). Then ascend to Jerusalem, the eternal city!
November 17 - Walking the Ancient Paths of Jerusalem
Explore the Israel Museum, including the Shrine of the Book and the model of Jerusalem in Yeshua's time. Visit Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust Memorial. Continue to the City of David, walking through Hezekiah's Tunnel (2 Kings 20:20 TLV) and the Pool of Siloam (John 9:7 TLV). Walk the recently opened Pilgrim's Road from the Pool of Siloam to the Southern Steps of the Temple Compound, where Yeshua taught (Luke 19:47 TLV). Visit the Western Wall and Western Wall Tunnels, and stroll through the Jewish Quarter. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
November 18 - Samaria - Mountains of Blessings, Curses and Covenants
Journey through Samaria, passing Tel Dothan, where Joseph found his brothers (Genesis 37:17 TLV). Visit Samaria, the capital of the Northern Kingdom (1 Kings 16:28 TLV), and see Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim, where blessings and curses were proclaimed (Deuteronomy 11:29 TLV). At Mount Ebal, view the excavations of Joshua's Altar (Joshua 8:30 TLV). In Nablus (ancient Shechem), visit Jacob's Well, where Yeshua spoke to the Samaritan woman (John 4:6 TLV). Return to Jerusalem for dinner and an overnight stay.
November 19 - Hope and Restoration
Stop at the Valley of Elah, where David defeated Goliath (1 Samuel 17:2 TLV). Serve with the Joseph Project and learn about their important work, process the trauma and grief Israel has faced as you prayer walk in the Gaza Envelope, including Kibbutz Be'eri and Re'im. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
November 20 - Heritage and Freedom
Travel to Tel Aviv to visit the ANU Museum of the Jewish People, see Independence Hall, and explore Jaffa, the ancient port city where Jonah fled to Tarshish instead of going to Nineveh (Jonah 1:3 TLV), and where Peter had his vision (Acts 10:9 TLV). Ascend to Jerusalem and welcome the Sabbath at your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
November 21 - Messiah's Passion and Victory
Enjoy a relaxing Shabbat morning at the hotel or join local believers in worship at a local congregation. In the afternoon, visit the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4 TLV), Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36 TLV), and the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:2 TLV). Conclude at the Garden Tomb for a time of Messiah's Yizkor (Communion) (Luke 24:6 TLV). After dinner, transfer to the airport for your overnight flight.
November 22 - Return to the USA
